Djirra (formerly Aboriginal Family Violence Legal Service)
Djirra is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation established in 2002 to provide assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims/survivors of family violence and sexual assault and to work with families and communities affected by violence.
Our family violence service provides women and children with the range of services they require while in crisis – such as court support, crisis housing and case management – through to services designed to promote healing and recovery, such as women's and children's counselling.
We are a leading accredited service, which provides services, programs and responses to issues of family violence in migrant and refugee communities.
