More Victorians are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination from Monday 3 May 2021.
The list of Victorians eligible to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine at our Sunshine Hospital vaccination Hub has expanded to include:
People aged 50 and over
All adults with an underlying medical condition or significant disability
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 55 years and over
Healthcare workers currently employed and not included in Phase 1a
Household contacts of quarantine and border workers
Critical and high-risk workers who are currently employed including defence, police, fire, emergency services and meat processing
Private sector residential aged care facility staff will be eligible to access state vaccination clinics from 3 May 2021. Public sector residential aged care staff already have access to state services and this continues. Residential aged care staff under 50 years of age should receive the Pfizer vaccine, and staff aged 50 and over should receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.
It is natural if you or your loved ones have concerns or questions. We are listening and are here to provide support and advice.
We encourage all eligible members of the community to attend the Hub to talk to our experienced nursing and medical staff who can assist you with your decision making.

You are also welcome to walk in for an appointment at Sunshine Hospital Hub within the following hours:
Saturday to Wednesday 8:30am to 3:30pm
Thursday & Friday 8:30am to 7:00pm
About the Hub
Western Health is proud to be supporting the COVID-19 vaccine rollout program for the western metropolitan region of Melbourne. The Sunshine Hospital COVID-19 Vaccination Hub is a purpose-built semi-permanent facility constructed in the ground floor of the multi-deck car park. It is the primary vaccination site for our region and has capacity for up to 60 cubicles.

Parking will be free for people receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on levels 5 and 6 of the multideck car park. You can enter this car park off Majorca Street.
The hub is open from 8.15am to 4.15pm Monday – Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, and 8.15am to 7.15pm Thursday and Friday.
