Service Description	Trained staff visit clients in their own home to administer a variety of treatments as ordered by a Medical Officer e.g. antibiotics, assist in diabetic stabilisation, complex wound management.
Eligibility	Any client who has an acute condition who would otherwise require hospitalisation for treatment. The client and their carer must agree for treatment to be provided at home and must live within easy reach of the Bacchus Marsh Hospital campus, as well as having access to a telephone and transport.
Access hours	8.30am – 3.30pm.
Referral process	By General Practitioner or Medical Specialist. Referrals are also accepted from other Hospital in the Home programs.
Cost to client	Nil
